World Sight Day (WSD) is the most important advocacy and communications event on the eye health calendar. It is a global event observed annually on the second Thursday of October, to draw attention on blindness and vision impairment.

WORLD GLAUCOMA WEEK (WGW)

World Glaucoma Week (WGW) is a joint global initiative of the World Glaucoma Association (WGA) and the World Glaucoma Patients Association (WGPA), to raise awareness of glaucoma. Glaucoma is the second leading cause of blindness and the leading cause of irreversible blindness worldwide. It is observed annually from the second Sunday in March.

WORLD RETINOBLASTOMA AWARENESS WEEK (WRAW)
A week set aside to raise awareness of retinoblastoma, a fast-growing and one of the most common cancer in babies and children. It is marked from the second Sunday in May
